Inmate dies in Chatham County Detention Center, cause of death still unclear The Chatham News + Record
An inmate at the Chatham County Detention Center died early Sunday morning. Jaimarien Rayshaun Sellers, 19, was found unresponsive by his roommate shortly after midnight. Sellers had earlier been observed sleeping in his cell during a routine periodic check. After the roommate alerted detention officers that Sellers was unresponsive, officers immediately entered Sellers’ cell to administer CPR.
